Even for those who are not interested in politics in any manner, politics affects the every day life of each individual. Regardless of your station in life, what occurs in the halls of congress, state legislatures, county commissions and city councils determine how each of us live and under what laws we live by. Therefore, it is important to have an understanding of how those bodies work. Learning about the science of politics creates an informed voter which in turn creates an informed society.
